
About Angela
Research and Development Advisor, Disabled Persons Assembly (DPA)
Angela is a researcher and policy advisor focusing on equity in employment. Angela worked for 20 years in the Education sector across Spain, and New Zealand and has Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Linguistics, within the fields of Sociolinguistics and Critical Discourse Studies.
In her role, Angela provides an employment perspective to DPA policy submissions and builds relationships with employers to promote inclusive recruitment practices. Angela is one of the 90% of DPA staff who identify as disabled.
Angela is a member of DPA, Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes New Zealand, and the Institute of Directors.
