Who is the NZDEN?

The New Zealand Disability Employers’ Network (NZDEN) is a network of NZ employers committed to improving their disability and neurodiversity inclusion and accessibility practices.

Our shared purpose is –

“New Zealand organisations realise the true potential of disabled people, to the benefit of everyone."

Members of the network seek to:

  • Bridge the disability career gap
  • Break down accessibility barriers to equitably serve all
  • Inspire others to action

But we are more than a network, we are an employer whānau who have a true community of practice and knowledge around disability, neurodiversity, and accessibility.

The NZDEN is the home of the Accessibility Tick(opens in a new tab) - a continuous improvement programme that assists organisations improve their disability and neurodiversity inclusion practises.

The network is recognised by the UN’s International Labour Organisation’s Global Business and Disability Network(opens in a new tab) as the key New Zealand body representing businesses in their disability inclusion and accessibility journey.
